Farewell to Blaugranas Master Xavi Hernández

El Maestro of footballing field xavi  hernandez to play his final league game tonight at his home blaugrana club, where he started his career 24 years back from toady at La Masia (Barcelona youth academy), since then xavi have achieved everything in footballing world and has nothing left to accomplish. With 8 League titles, 3 Champions League, 2 Spanish Cups, 2 Uefa Super Cups, 6 Spanish Super Cups, 2 Fifa Club World cups, and most important a World Cup medal with spain international in 2010. Yes !! a world cup medal.

Xavi Hernandez leaves behind a legacy that many players have yet to achieve upon in the future and wonder how El Maestro managed to achieve so much in such a competitive age.
Many of the culers of today cannot remember a Barca without Xavi and witnessed Xavi to lead his teammates and club at every crises moment. He is the role model for many on and off the pitch. It will be sad times for all Barca fans around the world seeing their legend go, Thank you for everything, maestro.

Later tonight at nou camp barca players will wear jerseys with farewell message to the Catalan master on his last league game.

Orkut Counting its last days (Article for Splandex.com)

According to Google, Orkut to shut down by the end of 2014. The very first social networking site by Google which was launched back in 2004 is now counting its last days. Orkut which is very popular in Brazil, Asia and U.S is now surviving hardly in competition to other social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter around the globe. Today 50 percent of Orkut users are in Brazil, 20 percent in India and fewer than 18 percent are from the Pakistan and U.S.

In 2010, Facebook overtook Orkut as the top social networking site in India with 20.9 million visitors and after the introduction of Google plus the usage of Orkut become more less and the service also did not do well in other parts of the world, having heavy competitors in race and finally Google took the decision to shut down their very first social networking site. On September 30, 2014, Orkut will be officially shut down. At that point, users won’t be able to log in anymore to Orkut. The company said it would preserve an archive of all Orkut “communities” that will be available from  30th September.

“If you don’t want your posts or name to be included in the community archive, you can remove Orkut permanently from your Google account,”Said Google.

According Paulo Golgher (Engineering Director of Orkut ) ” It’s been a great 10 years, and we apologize to those still actively using the service. We hope people will find other online communities to spark more conversations and build even more connections for the next decade and beyond.”

The Top Three Announcements at Google I/O 2014 (Article for Splandex.com)

Google I/O is developers conference held at Moscone Centre San Francisco last week and over 1 million people watched the conference on the live streams around the world. Listed below are the top three announcements at Google I/O 2014 conferences.

Google Android L

Android L will be leading android operating system this year, its the latest version of android previewed at this years google I/O conference. Android L mainly focuses on design and performance with the better notification system. Android L introduces the intelligent Material Design concept for the first time which focuses on design and user experience and provide a better view and interaction of user with the layout of UI. Apps will programmatically changes its color to the surroundings of application. Lets say if we are using music player, the music player will automatically adopt its color intelligently with the selected album cover of the songs being played. Android L will be release by the end of this year, expected release dates are between 23 September and 23 December.

Android Auto

As a rival to Apple’s Car play, Google introduces Android auto. Google points out that 25% of the accidents on the road occur because people use their phones while driving. Keeping this in mind for the safety of the user while driving Google introduced “Android auto”. With Android auto all important information you need will be at your car dashboard screen and you can use Android auto to make phone calls, send texts, control and play music, and importantly control different apps including Google maps to get directions you need just by your voice commands and also keeping your eyes on the road.

Android TV 

From playing games to watching movie now our hands will be on Android TV . With its voice search commands via our phone we can listen to any kind of music or can watch any movie on our TV screens. Saying “X-Men,” “johnny depp movies,” or other types of search will bring up recommendations based on the searched keywords. Android wearable can also control Android TV. Gaming is another feature of Android TV, now users can play multiplayer games with others using their phone as first and android TV as multiple console option.

Jago Youth Organization

 5 years of services at Peshawar Islamabad & Abbottabad

Started their work in 2009 having a small team, Jago Youth Organization is on their way to be a one of the well-known youth organization in Pakistan. Jago Youth Organization will complete their five years of excellence work this Ramadan and now is counted among successful organizations working in major cities of Pakistan with above 500 plus members in different cities serving youth and organizing different youth events and other activities for different age groups. The team is working on behalf of youth and set different type of events at different times, which include school activities  and youth grooming sessions at schools, colleges and universities having their recent session at comsats institute of information technology Abbottabad campus .

Jago Youth Organization is also helping and sharing hands with orphans at different orphan houses and helping the needy ones in the holy month of Ramadan by arranging Aftar for the deserving people. The organization also have their blood donor society working in Abbottabad region, another milestone covered by Jago Youth Organization this year by establishing “Jago Youth Adventure Club” which have already organized trips to adventures part of Pakistan this year involving their recent trips to Neelam Valley  and Mushkpuri top, their coming trip is of 7 days adventurous tour to Gilgit, Hunza, Skardu, Deosai and Rama Meadows.

Jago Youth Organization was initially started as a small project team for Peshawar region and restricted their work to Peshawar initially, but slowly and progressively Jogo Youth Organization wings expended to main cities of Pakistan and now having branches in Islamabad, Abbottabad, and Peshawar and soon they are starting Swat & Malakand Chapters.

Jogo Youth Organization is on their way to launching Project Falah this Ramadan which will cover Aftar for deserving ones in Abbottabad and Peshawar. The team will give Aftar to needy ones on 13^th of July in Abbottabad and then in Peshawar on 19^th of July. Project falah will covers Aftaar for up to 1000  poor and needy people during the Holy month of Ramadan. Jago Youth Organization will organize Aftar in Peshawar as well as in Abbottabad. In parallel the needy people will be provided with food packets (Rashan) for the holy month. The working members are highly motivated for this good cause.

PAKISTAN IN FIFA WORLD CUP 2014

 

Yes you will be surprised by reading the title but its true, Pakistan is still present on the fields of Brazil in every football world cup match of the tournament, because of “Adidas Brazuca” which is official match ball for Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup. These official balls are made and produced by Pakistani sports factory in the eastern town of Sialkot, Pakistan.

Even though Pakistan has never played in a football world cup, no other team would have had the chance to play it, if Pakistan did not produce the ball.These balls were assembled by Pakistani women paid 10,000 Pakistani rupees a month ($101), less than the price of a single ball. Ninety percent of workers in the factory are women. From flat panel to finished product, the process takes up to 40 minutes. The factory produces up to 100 balls per hour and despite witnessing financial crisis in the past, the football industry in Sialkot is going strong. Over Forty million foot balls, worth about $210 million are produced in Sialkot every year.

Sialkot is known as one of the leading sports goods industries in the world. This factory can produce over 30,000 footballs in a single day.

Brazilian Ambassador Alfredo Leoni said, “It was a matter of great pride that the World Cup [soccer balls] were provided by a Pakistani company, giving Pakistan a connection with the global contest.”

2014 FIFA WORLD CUP UPSETS AND TEAM PERFORMANCES IN FIRST ROUND

It’s been the most interesting world cup with some huge upsets and last minutes equalizers so far, the defending champions Spain are the first team in the history of world cup who were playing as defending champions and are now out of world cup just after playing their  first two games, Spaniards who are at 4^th position in Group B lost both of their first matches against Netherlands and Chile and now out of world cup , the world of football is still amazed on their performance, and few of Spanish players have already announced their retirement which include  xabi Alonso, xavi Hernández and captain iker casillas  name is also in rumors, other than Spain another team England who are known as the pioneers of football also frustrated their fans and are out of world cup just after playing  two games and Italy are out after losing to Uruguay.

Another upset which was about to happened by the brilliant play till 90 minute by Iranian team was blush by the Argentina little man Leo Messi, Lionel Messi curled a stunning 91st-minute winner to send Argentina through to the World Cup knockout stage and rob the excellence Iran of a deserved point. Before that in the initial stages of world cup Germany’s 4-0 victory over 10-man Portugal in the Group G also frustrated many portages and Cristiano Ronaldo fans.

Brazil who are hosting the world cup and are one of the favourites of winning the world cup, Brazil played their first games against the Croatia which ended as 3-1 win for brazil, and in their second game against the Mexicans the match ended as a goal less draw in which the Mexican goalkeeper performance was worth watching. Brazil won their third game easily by four goals to one victory over Cameroon and is now top of group A and qualified for knockout stages along with Mexico from Group A, Other than these teams the good performances in world cup so far are of Colombian team who are 1st in Group C, Costa Rica 1st in Group D beating Italy and Uruguay in their important matches. France are at top of group E having 5 goals victory over Switzerland in their second game and qualified for the round of 16.Nigeria having second position in group F but yet to win an important game against Iran to qualify for next round. Germany and Belgium are at top of group G and H respectively till the current date standings.

Chapter 8: Nineteen Years Later

i’ll be sinking in a sea of books , i’ll be a better Taimur , i’ll be chasing after ”me” , i’ll spread away the wings of my insanity, i’ll be into the wild. well do i have to wait for another Nineteen years as mcCandless did ? or i have to be a super tramp too to begin what i dream for. The story goes on, but the track is still to be finished.I don’t want to buy a stairway to heaven, all i want is to fill the vase with flowers it needs or the spring will over soon. My winter nights are spend thinking of place and managing my plan but i can see the script is still incomplete for me to perform it and my wait is getting longer.

There was that guy i met in Punjab Pakistan he had passionate religious personality, when i asked him what you do for living ? the reply was “i do nothing”  then i asked how do you mange your expenses and spend time ? he replied  “im like a lost man,searching for something, im like a guy digging deeper to find something but i don’t know yet where to find it, i pray daily, i recite Quran and now im feeling nearer to it, but i still have to get it” the reply was weird but it had a lot to say.

Yes of course I’m in rights of giving Nishan-i-Haider to late Aitizaz Hasan, who sacrifices his life while trying to prevent a suicide attack on his school. As the rounds of giving him award (Nishan-i-Haider) got the top place in our social media; but now it’s time for the government of Pakistan to seriously think on this issue, What if this young man wasn’t there? We could have lost many innocent souls at Government High School Ibrahimzai in Hangu.

State of Pakistan must award Nishan-i-Haider to brave Shaheed Aitezaz, but now it’s time to take some serious action about war on terrorism in Pakistan, we have already lost millions of Muslims, majority of innocent kids in suicide bombing. Aitizaz Hassan stood his ground and got hold of the bomber who then detonated his vest and save around 500 of his fellows at school, A true hero died yesterday protecting his classmates but is there anyone in Pk government who can play the same role for the rest of our country and saves us from this difficult time. I saw lots of people on our social media saying “we have million Aitizaz” but the point is we don’t need more Aitzazs, Not one or one million. What we need is the worth of the one we lost.
